Day of Justice
events held in Fresno, California will include workshops focusing on a wide range of restorative justice practices including: business, criminal justice, health, school and church.

Sponsoring agencies include:

11am - 1pm: Luncheon Panel with Community Leaders.

Luncheon only: $25

This luncheon features restorative justice practices in Fresno, including the introduction of new Juvenile RJ legislation, AB 1849 introduced by Assemblymembers Wilmer Amina Carter and Henry T. Perea.

1:30-4pm: Restorative Justice Tours

Included in luncheon price. Tour space is limited, you will be notified of acceptance by March 12. 

  • Juvenile Justice Center tour with the Honorable Judge Gottlieb
  • City of Reedley tour for a closer look at community-based restorative justice programs in action.
    Ride in the nationally acclaimed electric school bus (the first of its kind!) from Kings Canyon Unified School District (KCUSD) to the City of Reedley.

8am - 4pm: Restorative Justice Conference (includes luncheon)

Late Registration: $65 (March 12-16) No food or t-shirt available with this option

Morning and afternoon workshops will be offered that showcase successful restorative justice programs in Fresno County in businesses, schools, criminal justice, law, and health fields.
