The Oregon Mennonite Festival for World Relief is right around the corner and many have already started showing their support for MCC. Every other year, the Festival hosts a bike ride somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. This year featured a ride in the San Juan Islands in Washington. Participants spent five days exploring the islands and learning about the work of MCC. In addition, with the support of local committees, the Festival hosted two concerts in Oregon featuring the Too Tall Americanos from Pittsburgh, PA. Ryan Snyder Thompson shared through both events about his work with MCC in Syria and the current conflict. These events raised over $45,000 and all proceeds will go toward Oregon Mennonite Festival for World Relief to benefit MCC's work of relief, development and peace in the name of Christ around the world.

If you missed out on these events, don’t worry! There’s plenty of fun to be had at the Oregon Mennonite Festival for World Relief on October 13, 2012. Events will include a quilt show, auctions for all ages, and food booths. The Festival will be held at Linn County Fair and Expo Center at 3700 Knox Butte Road in Albany, Oregon.
